Imelda began working in the Healthcare Industry in 2007. Since finishing up her studies in UL, she has gained invaluable experience in the areas of geriatric care, emergency and local injuries, as well as intellectual disability services and psychiatric services. Imelda also worked in education for children with special needs for a short period.
Her healthcare journey eventually led her into various leadership roles, most recently as Care Team Leader in a nursing home, where she gained experience developing and adapting policies, carrying out risk assessments, composing and implementing individualised care plans, and completing reports and ensuring HIQA compliance. She also looked after scheduling and rostering and overseeing a team of carers.
Imelda is now Care Manager in our South East office, and is responsible for providing immediate support to all of our clients and staff members in the Kilkenny and Carlow areas.

Cassie joined the Kareplus team in 2020 after a number of years acting as a Scheduling Manager. She has vast experience within the heathcare industry. She is patient focused, proactive, and exceptionally resourceful team player with passion for service and high standards. She has experience in all fields of healthcare, including care of the elderly, caring for clients with mental health issues and intellectual disabilities. She prides herself on attention to detail and providing the best support to our clients and staff. She accurately provides clients with details of any necessary preparation, verifying area information, and advise of estimate for services in one point of contact. She works efficiently with high level of accuracy while managing high volume incoming/outgoing calls, and referral work queues. She recognises and balances the needs of the patient, while following established organisation and HSE guidelines.
