Each of our staff members go through a rigorous recruitment process before commencement of employment to ensure that we only employ qualified, experienced and trustworthy care-givers. Regular spot checks are carried out to ensure that our carers are continually working in line with our high standards. Prior to the beginning of any care package, a risk-assessment is carried out, carers & clients are introduced and an individualised comprehensive care plan is composed.

Meet the Staff

Kirk Robinson – Director

Kirk Robinson is the Director of the Kare Plus Ireland Master Franchise. Skilled in management, human resources, payroll and employment law, Kirk’s career began in various management roles in the catering industry. Kirk then trained in payroll, and went on to establish and run his own business in outsourced payroll and HR consultancy for over 15 years. Kirk gained his experience in the Irish Healthcare Industry with daily running of Kare Plus Ireland Pilot office in Wexford when it opened its doors in October 2018. Kirk prides himself on offering unrivalled support to our clients, staff and franchisees. We are now looking for national franchisees to join and expand our very successful business.

Lenee Pollock – Clinical Care Manager

Lenee has been our Clinical Care Manager at our Kare Plus pilot office since March 2019, and oversees all of our carers and the care they provide for our clients. Lenee’s career in the health care industry began in 2005 when she spent the year as a Health care Assistant in the UK. She then returned home to South Africa and began her training as a Nurse to further fuel her passion for assisting those in need. From 2009 to 2018 Lenee gained valuable experience in the Intensive Care Unit and qualified as a Critical Care Nurse which led her to various leadership roles. She then, along with her husband and son, immigrated to Ireland in December 2018 to continue her contributions to the health care industry and live out her passion for ensuring quality care and support in time of need.

Sarah Robinson – Senior Administrator

Sarah RobinsonSarah came from a background in education and training prior to her commencement with Kare Plus Wexford, and she began her Kare Plus journey doing general administration when the Wexford pilot office opened its doors in October 2018. Always eager to be challenged and learn new things, she eventually became involved with recruitment, induction and training. Sarah spent some time as care co-ordinator for the Wexford office, looking after staff rotas and schedules. Sarah currently oversees payroll and invoicing; and her main role is to support the directors and senior management in various aspects of the business, as well as continuing to assist the pilot office staff with recruitment and training. Sarah is also our compliance lead, overseeing staff compliance, issuing ID badges, and ensuring that all employees and staff policies and procedures comply with regulatory standards.

Angie O’Leary – Field Care Supervisor

Angie’s career started in the Catering Industry before her Healthcare  journey began. She worked part time in private care for over 8 years and fully qualified as a Healthcare Assistant in 2015. Angie realised that she wanted to develop her passion for helping others further and joined the Kare Plus Wexford Team shortly after our establishment in October 2018. She has been a real asset to the company ever since.

Angie says; “I have enjoyed helping the business to grow. My aim is to work hard to make life easier for others.”

Angie now takes on the joint role of Field Care Supervisor while continuing her duties as a HCA with her much loved clients.

Tyler Greene – Head Of Recruitment

Tyler came from a background in sales and business development, prior to commencing his career in recruitment. He subsequently went on to work for several recruitment companies, and gained a wealth of knowledge and experience as a recruiter, including recruiting for a variety of different industries, international recruitment for multinational companies and managing teams of recruiters. Tyler joined the Kare Plus Wexford office in March 2019 as Recruitment Manager, and his role in the company is to look after various establishments, internal recruitment for the office staff and business development. Tyler also oversees the agency staff who work in various establishment settings, and provides the vital link between our business clients and their agency staff. As well as internal and agency recruitment, Tyler also does Kare Plus Ireland Master Franchise recruitment, looking after recruitment for our various franchisees.

Farrah Quli – Care Coordinator

Farrah began her healthcare journey in Waterford Institute of Technology, completing her BSc in Applied Healthcare in 2016. She has experience in all fields of healthcare, including care of the elderly, caring for clients with mental health issues and intellectual disabilities. She previously worked for a telehealth company where she was involved in patient scheduling and follow-up discharge calls and went on to become a quality analyst, where she reviewed students nurses and HCA’s calls to clients. She started with Kare Plus as a Healthcare Assistant and after a few months joined the office team to become the Scheduler and Care Coordinator for the Wexford office. She is very passionate about ensuring that carers and clients receive the best of support.

Conor Bates – Recruitment Consultant

Conor Bates landed in Kare Plus in September 2019, after spending a year in the sky as a cabin crew member with Ryanair! Conor started out his journey in the catering industry in coffee shops and restaurants and also worked in retail. With years of customer service experience, Conor went on to study in Waterford Institute of Technology obtaining a Level 7 Business Degree. Conor now oversees agency recruitment and rostering for Kare Plus Wexford’s various establishment clients. With an outgoing friendly personality, Conor is well underway to expanding Kare Plus, providing an outstanding to service to clients and carers alike.

Teresa Bates – Field Care Supervisor

Teresa has been involved in the Healthcare Industry for almost 8 years. She began her Healthcare journey caring for her Father who had Dementia and became a fully qualified Healthcare Assistant in 2015.

Teresa says; “It is the most enjoyable career that I have ever been involved in. Over the years I have helped people who were experiencing all kinds of illnesses. It has been lovely to be able to assist those people with the tasks that they can no longer do for themselves. It’s also great to be able to get to know all of the people and make some Happy memories for them and their families.”

Teresa joined the Kare Plus Wexford team in March 2019 and has been an asset to the company ever since. She quickly became our HCA of the Month in July of the same year.

Teresa now takes on the joint role of Field Care Supervisor where she will continue to work with her much loved clients.
