Gloria Ramasia
Managing Director
Gloria is the Managing Director of Kare Plus South Cork.
She holds a Bachelors Degree in Finance and is ACCA part Qualified. Gloria has a background in the accounting and business industry. She has worked as an auditor and accountant for different companies over the years and brings a wealth of experience in accounting, business, and people management skills.
She has developed keen interest in the Healthcare industry over years having worked as a part-time Accountant /Auditor for one of the leading Healthcare companies.
Dr Jonah Ramasia
Managing Director
Jonah Ramasia is the Managing Director of Kare Plus South Cork. He brings a wealth of experience from his medical background.
A Medical Doctor by training, Dr Jonah graduated from Trinity College with Bachelor’s in medicine (MB), Surgery (ChB), Obstetrics (BAO) and Arts (BA). He is also a Member of the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland.
His area of specialist interest is Geriatrics & Rehabilitation Medicine and he has over 10 years of experience working in various Acute and Community hospitals in Ireland including the Integrated Care Programme for Older Persons (ICPOP).
He oversees all the clinical operations of the business including staff management & training, and regulatory compliance.
Rhian Long
Care Manager
Rhian joined Kare Plus in August 2022. Rhian has four years’ experience working in healthcare, Rhian worked her way up from Healthcare Assistant to Assistant Operations Manager to Care Manager.
Before finding her passion in Healthcare, Rhian worked in the Construction / Recruitment industry for 5 years in Australia.
Rhian is very dedicated to her work; she is very patient focused and loves meeting new clients. Rhian loves to be kept busy, she has a great work ethic and is always motivated.
Rhian knows the importance of compassion, empathy and attention to detail when dealing with family’s and clients and is committed to providing outstanding care and support through her role as Care Manager.”
Rachel Byrne
Recruitment & Administration Officer
Rachel is a recent Master’s graduate from UCC and currently holds the position of Recruitment and Administration Officer for Kare Plus South Cork. Rachel combines academic knowledge with hands-on experience to act as a passionate care advocate for our clients.
Specialising in the care of young and vulnerable individuals, Rachel plays a crucial role in the recruitment, interviewing, and vetting process of Social Workers and Healthcare Assistants. By ensuring all staff compliance aligns with industry regulatory standards, Rachel is committed to upholding the highest standards and quality of care within the field.
Danielle O’Sullivan
Quality Coordinator
Danielle is the Quality Co Ordinator for Kare plus south cork. Danielle acquired a social care degree and began working in Kare Plus South Cork as a social care worker in September 2022. Danielle has recently been promoted to her role as Quality Co Ordinator but finds that her experience from working with young people and the caring field in general has helped her to have a better understanding of her job role.
Danielle is always looking for an opportunity to upskill and has found that Kare Plus South Cork have assisted greatly in advancing Danielles skills. Danielle enjoys working closely with the young people, staff members and members of management to help provide the best level of care to the young people and the best working environment for the staff members of Kare Plus South Cork.
Niamh Foran
Scheduler
Niamh is the Scheduler of the Kare Plus South Cork team. She joined the team in September 2023 after graduating with a BA in Sociology and Geography from UCC.
Niamh is very passionate about ensuring that carers and clients receive the best of support.
